Purple Wave AV have many years experience in providing support to corporate conferences and events throughout the country.  We provide a tailor made corporate event package giving your event that professional look at a cost effective price. Every event is different and we draw on our years of experience to create the right package for your event.

Things to consider when starting to plan for your event are:

• How many people will be attending?
• How will they be seated? Theatre style (in rows) or cabaret style (around tables)?
• How many people will be speaking at the event?
• Will there be any remote participation?

Venues

Traditionally conferences have normally taken place in large hotel conference rooms and we have visited many throughout the years.  However we have also provided conference support at many different locations.

Factory and warehouse settings are often a totally blank canvas and very unique.  The right package of equipment can transform this space into a quirky and welcoming space.

Outdoor events in marquees are again all unique and have different needs in terms of sound and vision. Our team have the skills, knowledge and experience to make sure all your guests can hear and see the whole event.

Different Types of Events

The term “Conference” covers many different types of events we work on, we use this term to describe generic business presentations, however there may be many specific requirements and just because we call them “generic”, it certainly doesn’t mean they have to be boring!

Streamed Events – These events enable business to communicate with their customers and or members of staff remotely.  During Covid times these events were essential, more recently we’ve seen a shift towards more hybrid events, where we have a classic conference event with an in house audience which includes remote members in panels, discussions and Q&A’s using a variety of platforms like Zoom, Teams, Google Hangouts, YouTube, Vimeo and Facebook.

Award Ceremonies – Award Ceremonies are all about recognition, they can be events in their own right or a part of a multi format event. Quite often they are used to bring formal proceedings to an end and kick start a mood change. They tend to involve more lighting and sound and visuals to add that little bit of pizzazz.

Gala Dinners – Often these come at the end of a day conference and we are able to use lighting and effects to transform the room into an evening celebration environment.

AGMs and Seminars – These can include hearing loops and remote participation.

Visual Options

There are many options to choose from all depending on the venue, size of audience and type of event.

For large events we have LED video walls.  These are modular so can be made in various sizes, however the largest we have is 8 meters wide by 3 meters tall. This is an impressive and versatile feature, allowing you many options throughout your event. Some people choose to split the screen with static images, maybe the agenda, then have videos playing on the remaining section. The options are endless.

We also have a wide range of projection screens and LED screens in various sizes. We often combine these for larger events, depending on the light levels in the room. Often we have an LED wall or large projection screen on stage, with relay screens down the room to allow everyone to be able to seen and read the screens.

Audio and Lighting Options

We have a wide range of audio and lighting packages suitable for all types of venues.  Different equipment is required for different types of events, depending on whether its speech only or whether you want to play music, the size of audience and type of venue.

Stage Options

We have a number of different staging options.  All our staging is modular so can be made into various shapes and sizes to suit your event.  We have both indoor and outdoor staging.

Additional options include ramps, steps, handrails, different heights, curtain surround or under stage lighting.
