Working with Equip Outdoors Technologies UK, the company behind brands such as Rab and Lowe Alpine shortly after the First UK Lockdown 2020

This event was simply to enable social distancing during 2020. Under normal circumstances sales reps from all over Europe would have been in attendance at the company’s head office to see the latest new products in person.

We provided the following equipment which offered improvements to their existing Zoom Room Installation, this allowed the reps to engage, ask questions and see the merchandise close up, while allowing them to remain at home.

  • Digital Vision Mixer allowing various camera angles, PowerPoint and demo videos to be seamlessly broadcast.
  • Cameras including a mobile unit for close-up merchandise views.
  • Lapel Microphones and Sound System for high quality 2 way audio.
  • Small PA System
  • Single Crew operation to minimise close contact.


This event was streamed from the customer’s own demo room, sited at their HQ in Derbyshire.


A standard remote audience event with 3 cameras, audio and simple operation should attract the following budget requirement (many options are available including remote PowerPoint operation, remote Q&A Sessions, live remote surveys and dial in sessions):

  • Visual Mixing and Broadcast equipment – £500
  • Camera Equipment – £500
  • Audio and Microphone Equipment – £350
  • 1 Day Event including Set-up – £450
